About
Life on my own terms
This space began with a simple question:
What would life feel like if it were shaped more intentionally, and a little less by default?
Life On My Own Terms isn’t about stepping away from responsibility, or redesigning everything at once.
It’s about noticing the small patterns that shape our days — how time is spent, where attention goes, and how easily both are given away.
And then, gently, choosing something different.
So much of modern life is fast, reactive, and always on.
Even the moments meant for rest are often filled with noise.
This space is an attempt to create something quieter.
A place for reflection, for small shifts,
and for building a rhythm that feels more considered over time.
Evenings on my own terms
The first book in this space focuses on the end of the day.
Evenings are often where intention fades —
where we default to habits that don’t always leave us feeling restored.
This book offers a gentler alternative.
Not a system or a set of rules, but a quiet invitation to approach evenings with more awareness, and to create space for what matters most.
This project is written under the name Lucy Winterborne.
It reflects an ongoing interest in slower living,
intentional routines, and the small choices that shape everyday life.
Not perfectly, and not all at once —
but gradually, over time.
